Seeing Results with Invisalign

Each Invisalign case has a specific duration, which might range from as little as 3 months to as long as two years. Patients often ask how long it will take until they see results. In many cases of crowding, the width of the dental arch needs to be increased prior to the front teeth having the necessary room to align, so there might be a few months before improvement is noted. In other cases, results can be seen in the first 4-6 weeks. But regardless of when the results are actually noted, a cool thing about Invisalign treatment is that your teeth can be improving and treatment proceeding without anyone really noticing anything is going on. Patients with braces often feel like they have to postpone smiling until their appliances are removed. Invisalign patients might, for example, only be 2/3 complete with treatment, but their smile will already show as 2/3 better!
